For the morbidly curious I’ll clue you in on why the site hasn’t been updated in over a month and other things that are new in the so called life of the time-space anomaly I call “me”. Warning! Much linkage ahead…
In the last 30 or so days:
- Moved to Baltimore, MD from Rhoadesville, VA where we used to have Zebradale Farm. The fellow we were buying the place from weasled (no offense to any weasles out there) out of our contract and sold us out to a crazy lady with cash-in-hand. It’s ok though, the house was in need of a new roof, rewiring, plumbing, a new well, a new septic field, gas piping and a myriad of other things that the building inspector said would condemn the place.
- I now live on a 47 foot yacht (kinda like this one). I know, sounds small, but it’s the same square footage as your average 2 bedroom apartment but without the noisy neighbors on the other side of the wall and it runs less than $300 a month to live right in the heart of the city. Which compares nicely to the $1200+ a month apartments and the million dollar condos next door. Everything is walking distance now and I’ve found myself taking advantage of that. There’s also enough places to eat to have something different every night for a month. Sofar it’s a good life 🙂
- I’m looking at getting a 50 foot SeaRay which is just a bigger, faster and fancier yacht than the one I’m on now. So in the interest of getting said piece of fiberglass I’ve been working pretty much exclusively on the various software packages we, as PFM Technologies, are writing. The DVX (Digital Video X-Ray) system is nearing completion as soon as we grok the DICOM protocols. Pegasus has completed a custom streaming file format (which rules!) that we will be incorporating into our digital recorders and I’m getting to play with the latest technology that “Integral” has to offer. This all pays well, but leaves little time for drawing and whatnot 🙁
- Made a trip up to Philly for some WhiteCastle sliders. (No WhiteCastles in the DE,MD,VA,DC area) Haven’t been there since I was in the Navy… Place never changes and we were able to locate the joint in it’s same place about 4 miles down the road from the base. Bought 80 burgers and returned home with the booty which took an amazing 4 days to eat. An 80 burger order is nothing for your average WhiteCastle. The cook there told us about the 300 and 500 burger orders he had filled that day.
I’m still planning to make it to AnthroCon, which is a mere 100 miles (1.5 hours) from Baltimore, so be sure to look me up there. Being as the con-hotel is sold out, I’ll most likely be located in the hotel down the street. But rest assured I’ll still be wandering the halls of the con and haunting the dealer’s room 23 out of 24 hours a day.
Well, that sums up things here. I hope to be producing some more art in June so stay tuned.
