I’ve been really busy the last few days…
The big thing to deal with of course is my roommate getting laid off as it’s basically a $1500 a month pay cut for me if I don’t want to move.
The good news on this front is it sounds like RSO landed another job doing IT for a psychiatry office – the bad news is he won’t start until September and will run out of savings in August. So there will be a couple of tight months to contend with.
Outside of that I’ve been busy with all the hats I wear at work, and picking up the slack for everyone else who still works there.
It’s a bit annoying to have to do 4-5 jobs at once, flawlessly, and no one else can manage to do just one solitary job right. But I just grin and bear it.
On the car front I did spend an extra $30 on a replacement sticker for the Hellcat’s fuel door…
The old sticker got mauled by the UV here where there’s a mile less atmosphere between us and the sun. So it got replaced.
And lastly the liquor store not far from here had a food truck move in, so today I got a chorizo burrito for lunch… It’s good, and huge, and it was like $10. He also has a pretty amazing home-made hot sauce – so I might do that more often.
