There was a brief period in time where portable electronics had gotten small enough that the HD was the limiting factor – but SSDs hadn’t caught up yet… So you got things like 1.8″ 5400 rpm SATA drives.
This drive came out of a Panasonic CF-H1 I wiped for recycling.
