  • Entertainment…

Over the last couple of days I binge-watched all 64 episodes of “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood”…

I found it quite enjoyable, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quirky alternate-history magi-punk sort of thing.

One of the things I greatly enjoy about anime is how they don’t normally explain things for you; either you pay attention and think, or you miss most of the story. This is directly opposed to Western entertainment, where they feel the need to lead the audience by the nose and I generally have the plot figured out by the end of the fist act…

  • If a service is free, you are the product…

As of today I am Twitter-free.

I was getting frustrated with the service and it’s obvious biases, privacy issues, and the engineered outrage at anything politically convenient. So I bailed.

It’s not a big issue for me really as I never really have anything important enough to say that it requires an audience – which is why I never really got into Facebook and the others of its ilk.

So, for now, I guess I’m back to LJ. Not that this is a bad thing. 🙂
