Doing some research on the ‘Dead Internet Theory’ – which is a postulate that most of the ‘data’ component of the Internet these days is algorithmic sludge; the content equivalent of empty calories.
It’s scripted agents creating content for consumption by software ‘bots all the way down.
So, the fact that typing “Dead Internet Theory” into Google results in a scripted agent creating content about how everything on the Internet is a scripted agent creating content is hilarious.
But then the AI creating the content assures me that AI creating all of the content is just a conspiracy theory, so I feel much better now…
