The new carbon fiber intake tube / filter arrived today and was promptly installed.
And with that I think I’m done for a little while.
In the last 30 days I’ve taken the intake apart and cleaned it, replaced the coil packs, added a catch can, replaced the throttle body, replaced the injectors, and replaced the intake tube and filter.
It sounds like a lot, but all told the parts and a few tools were about $1800, which I financed for 6 months interest free – I basically spent my year-end bonus in spring rather than waiting for winter. 🙂
