Saturday morning I resubmitted all of the info on the Hellcat for trade-in, and earlier this evening I heard back…
The first offer was $40,500, tonights offer is $39,300 – a $1200 loss in value in 12 days, and the only thing that changed was the car has 127 more miles on it from the first appraisal…
It’s not ideal, but it’s not as bad of a bait-and-switch as some other folks have experienced. And it’s close enough to what I owe on it to take the offer; I need something to drive back and forth to the office this winter.
So now I’m back to waiting… The app currently says the car will be delivered “between the 20th and the 30th”… This is subject to change randomly – and wildly apparently.
